confused problem with cold engine

Everytime i start my car when its cold and begin to drive without letting it warm up my engine seems to stutter and basically not go anywhere. The more I accelerate the more my revs drop and eventually it stalls. I have no idea what could be causing this. If anyone has had this problem before or knows what it is I would really appreciate the help.

Cheers

Re: problem with cold engine

what model falcon is it?
manual or auto?
6 cylinder or V8?

maybe one of the sensors are stuffed and it could be running real rich.
Is it blowing any smoke.
your leads could be damaged.
rotor button a bit worn.
spark plugs could be dirty.
fuel filter could be blocked.
fuel pump might be on the way out.

cheers Jon.

Re: problem with cold engine

I have also noticed a significant power decrease below 3000rpm. Does this have a link to the problem I already have. Any help is appreciated.

Cheers
