Hello all. This is a question for any ea ghia owners out there.
1) When you first unlock the doors and get in the car, how long does it take for the interior lights to fade?
and
2) When you turn the ignition to off after having the engine running, do your interior lights come on?

I ask because I'm in the process of wiring a ghia bcm into my gl, but neither of the above are working, although the bcm does click when I close the doors and turn the key off. Trying to figure out if I've missed a wire somewhere or if it doesn't actually work.

It takes a while for them to fade, maybe 10-15 seconds (I don't have a stop watch).

My lights don't come on when the ignition is turned off after driving, but when you start the car before the lights have faded, they turn off right away.

i hadnt noticed the lights come on after ign off in anything but my olds AU Fairmont, perhaps it was brought in with AU, could also be in high spec EF/L dont know.

as jack said it takes about 10 - 15 sec to fade out
