Removing Headlight Switch

Hi,

I have a 95 EF Falcon. My headlight switch carked it the other day and I can't turn the headlights off so had to unplug them manually including taking out the back lights.

The car doesn't stop beeping indicating the lights are on. I'm getting it repaired monday as I have a new lightswitch. However, I tried to start the car and the battery is flat and it made a ticking noise when I tried to start the engine. Will I be able to jump start it or will that be a bit too much?

So the question is how do I take this switch out so I can somehow stop the beeping and have it disconnected so it's not an issue when I jump start it? Do I have to take part of the dash off?

Until you get the switch replaced, might be better off removing the battery cable when its to be sitting for a long period.

I see no problem jump starting the vehicle.

I wish I could help replacing but don't have access to Australian Falcon diagrams.
