Ok guys, i have removed my rear seat to run some wires and to also give a bit of a clean up.
Getting it out was easy, push it back and slightly up like you all say.
Now getting it back it. it basically just dropes in, i cannot get it to stay there, no it is loose, it seems to go into the brackets but with out any trouble, & then just sits there, if you lift gently it lifts out again.
i think once its in the brackets, it needs to come back towards the front of the car to lock in position.
just requires force to get it in the brackets usually.

i assume you mean the section u sit on? all you do is hop in the car so you are at the centre of the seat, tuck the very rear of the seat under the backrest part of the seat, slam it down hard while pushing towards the back of the car, do it firmly and you will hear it snap into place, use even pressure on each hand

Ok the brackets are kinda like this
_
l/____ll______
on the floor with the left side being towards front of the car and the right one at the rear. (If your know what i mean)
On the base of the cushon there is a metal bar which forms part of the seat which is what clips in. when i put it in, it drops neatly inbetween these two brackets on the floor nothing pushing it back, or forward or holding it down. I tried pulling it forward but nothing holds it forward.
WTF!!!!!!!!
