Hey guys.

Does anyone know if the EA 4 speed ECU can run the EL 4 speed?

well ive got an EA auto being run by an EL ECU and it works 100%

The EA ECU didnt power the auto, but it had a seperate TCM. But if your putting an EL 4speed into an EA 4speed it will work.

Ahhh.. some Good news. Thanks guys.

So does the module need to be run with the EA 4 sped ECU, or will it be ok with the 3 speed unit?

i think it needs the 4speed ECU, as the TCM links to the ECU in the engine bay through a large round plug. You may allso require 4speed ECU Loom.

As you can see Walki, I don't know much about those 4 speeds as I was only ever concerned about the 5 speed.
