Self diagnostic test - Ford Forums

Ran the computer self diagnostic test on the EF yesterday and got the following fault codes.

KOEO
126 MAP sensor(signal out of range)
214 CAM angle sensor(signal out of range)

KOER
A ok

Ok, fault 126 could be attributed to the engine being blown (postive pressure) but fault 214 ??? any suggestions/reasons.

Also any ideas how to run auto transmission diagnostic test.

They're both memory codes anyway meaning that they were out of range at some point but they aren't now. I'd say you're right about the 126. The 214 is a bit harder i assume you have an aftermarket ECU on it??? Could be to do with that, coz if the cam angle sensor was shot it it'd screw up your injectors and you wouldn't run right.

Try clearing them and going for a blast somewhere and see if they come back...

Yeah I did that a few weeks ago because of similar codes.
