A series of events put an e-series vechal in a tree.

Yes, thats just what happened to me today.

At about 7:30 in horrificstormy weather i had just finished my pizza delivery to a country type area in my town and was on my way back to the store. After trying to de-fog my front window i noticed that my car was running low on gas. Trying to switch from LPG to Petrol i saw to what i thought was a kangaroo.

After a little swearve, i've come up to an intersection still traveling at about 75km/h which i didn't see from a distence because my hi-beams are disfunctional.

This was followed by a skid which lasted for about 1.5 seconds across the T intersecion and then i've pounded into a small ditch, kept going and hit a tree dead center.

All of a sudden my quicksilver cap and glasses flew off and my phone went dead purely from the lack of recharging the battery.

With my adrenalin pumping faster then the cylinders before this calamity i ran to the nearest household and called the pizza shop to let the manager know what had just happened.

Unable to get intouch with my mum or step dad, the owner of the house that i ran to offerd to drive me back home.

Thanks to the R.A.C.V. tow truck and $200 later i've got my car under my carport awaiting its fate. As for me, apart from a sore chest i'm absolutely fine but i don't know whether tomorrow i'm gonna feel any whip lash since this is a first for me of this nature.

Offcorse the purchess of a new vechal is inevidable.

I saw the same model car in pick-a-part for sale last week for $1,100. should i buy this vechal and substitude bad parts with the good?

what do you think????

Damn, that's bad luck mate. You might be better off ditching the car if there is a lot of structural damage... Tell us how you go anyway.

Good to hear you came out ok.
the weather recently has been shocking :o
If you can find a decent car around that has a good body for cheap enough, then it would be worth swapping everything over.
Just keep in mind that to transfer stuff over you need time and the expertise.

Re: A series of events put an e-series vechal in a tree.

7:30 at night? Glasses and a hat? I am assuming clear reading glasses.

Mobile phone? Non functioning high beams?

Didn't u just put on a new 2.5" exhaust?

From the sounds of it you didn't make things entirely not your fault - and remember - its better to have a properly working car (highbeams) than one that simply sounds good.

Dan..
