Speed Control Unit - Ford Forums

Hey guys and gals, i was replacing the faded cup holder type thing on my eb xr8 (the little open storage thing between the gear stick and centre consoll and under that there was this metal type box with Speed control unit writen on it jsut wondering what that is n what it does just out of interest, is it sumn to do with cruise control? cheeers
