it might but it may take more force to do it and that may result in braking the morrir
i remember about a month or 2 ago i was reversing out of the garage and clipped the door with the mirror and it snapped a little bit out of the bottom edge and the mirror didn't even flick back! so i guess with these covers it will take even more force to flip em back. so you'll just have to be more careful

personally the mirrors look great as they are, but i have to get new covers for mine, so it's off to the wreckers

They dont look to bad imho, but for the money, Id rather fit a pair of ef/el mirrors, which look sooooo much better than the ea ones.

I wouldnt bother, for roughly a little cheaper, id rather get EB/D mirrors which look so much better.
