Not really, I did mine ages ago.
There is a tutorial on FordMods.com, that's the one I used. No problem at all.
As someone mentioned, make sure you get the connector for the back of the trip computer at the same time. The plug that is behind the plate in GL, S-pac and Fairmonts is for the digital clock, not a trip computer.
It is pretty straightforward, just one word, when you are attaching the wire to your ecu loom, strip back the tape as far as you can, so you can seperate the wire out easier. Makes it a lot easier.
