Re: Unichip after sales service

Peter if your reading.... I can't be happier so far with the post installation service from Spiro @ Autotech Engineering.

The job was done and a follow up call was made several days later to make sure that everything is all good and that there's no dramas.

If you read through the forums you'll find many a good word on Autotech as of late.

Re: Unichip after sales service

I've had no dramas with my unichip, and if I did i'm sure the boys at APS would be more than helpful

Re: Unichip after sales service

reading this thread makes me look like the bad guy here , peter if you are reading this thread please respond as as you know that as soon as we herd about this problem we advised him to take the car to Bob Ramanos in qld,he then came back to me telling me that he had to wait a few weeks to get the car into them .at that time i sent peter luxon an email and explained what was happening and to look into it further and get the problem sorted..i had not only sent one but 3 emails , so why are we getting canned for not looking after our customer .

Rob, I don't want this to drag on much longer. But was it asking too much to expect that Herrods contact Romano's direct and advise them to forward all charges for the replacement unichip & fitting to Herrods. You then take the issue up with unichip. I would have been satisfied, you would have been motivated $$ to ensure unichip responds. Instead I have paid out another $1500, will await a credit for the unichip and (i assume) whistle dixie for any refund of the installation cost.

Understand 100% but our dealings with APS over the years have left us in a no win situation a number of times one would have thought with a couple of emails to there main man that thre situation that you were in would have been sorted out without all of the problems that you have had.We were very frustrated by the way aps used to handle any warranty problems and found them a very hard company to deal with (hence why we do not endorsr there product anymore).
