Thanks for the best wishes guys and all the info. It wont be until early next year till I get started (still working on my old Corty atm). Oh yeah and im currently in Tassie, but probably moving back to WA early next year.

I will cost the exercise before I start. Reason for not buying a EB V8 is purely a cost decision. Since I can get this V8 at a good price it just seems like a good option.

Ill definatley keep you posted.

Anyone know the email addy of someone to talk to at WA Transport???

you would have zero chance of gettig it registered with a carby. Only bet is to use full EB V8 injection etc, or run straight LPG.
