value of EAII Ghia sedan

Okay, I have been offered a EAII Fairmont Ghia - good nick, good kays but three weeks out of rego - and asked to make an offer. Owner simply wants to see the arse of it without any hassles. I could proabably get it for free, but my sense of fair play means I wish to make a reasonable offer on it. What's it worth?

Re: value of EAII Ghia sedan

I reckon 3.5k to 4k is a fair price if the car is in good conditions.

If it's out of rego it could be a fair bit cheaper...

Yeah, it's out by three weeks, NSW, no blue slip required. The owner couldn't be bothered wih getting new rego. I might offer him $1000 and see how I go...

Re: value of EAII Ghia sedan

I've seen Ghia's around for about 2k. So I reckon since it's outta rego, 1.5k would be fair. As for your car Walkinshaw, I wouldn't settle for less than 3.5k personally.
