My drivers seat in my ED is getting a bit tired so id like to replace it but im not sure which way to go im thinking these 3 options 1)some EB-ED xr seats but prices vary so much im not sure what to pay. 2) some EL-EF seats xr or standard but ive been told they sit too high. or 3) some import seats but id rather not do any mods to runners. Any advise or prices i should be looking at would be apreciated. CHEERS!

EF-EL seats have different rails or something. Neb recently put some NL seats in his EB wagon and some chopping & welding was required. I'd look into some replacement EB-ED seats. Check out Ebay often, get a feel for what seats tend to sell for, and then take the plunge
ferntree gully wreckers have a complete ED XR interior for $500, which is an Ok price, although maybe a little on the expensive side (I've seen them for $400 on ebay).
They're based in melbourne though... I think their website is FTGwreckers.com.au
Leather seats + velour doors? Sounds fine to me. Mine is EB1 Ghia spec, which consists of velour doors and leather/velour seats, which totally matches up.
I'm sure the LTDs have the velour doors too, however they might have some woodgrain inserts in the door trims. Either way it's all good, leather + velour = winning combo
Check out John_XR6's car on the other forums for an idea of full leather seats and velour doors.
