Hello All,
I was wondering if an AU engine can be bolted into an EB the Block is effectively the same but the AU sump looks like it might foul the EB's K member.

Don't worry about this post as I'e just done a search & from what I can gather I could use the AU engine with EB mounts & cut a hole in the sump for my clutch cable. Replace my radiator with an EF/EL one (for the smaller water outlet) & keep the AU serpentine belt and all that is driven by it.

yer wuts the deal will u have to replace the engine loome if u get a AU donk in to a EA-B-D i now u got to shave a bit of the front off the sump and sum on the timing gear housing but could someone inlightin me about the electronics side of it

Nah Id just use the EB's EEC4 & not bother with the AU's EEC5. I figure a shift lite circuit could be wired to operate the broad band manifold.
