I just picked up a EL XR8 steering im just wondering if it will fit before a EA,I dont want to start pulling my steering wheel apart.is there anything i need to purchase more.

wont fit, steering columns are different, EA has splines and EL has a square shank. If you fittes an EL column it will fit. Use a horn pad off an XH ute without an airbag.
used to have an EL GT steering wheel. (looks HAWT) but yeh dont know about it on a EA - (airbag, cruise control, wiring factors) certainly should fit on the EF/EL/NL/NF range
Surely an adaptor plate could be made up? I'm considering a BA XR wheel for my EB, and I know it definitely won't fit straight on! So I'm thinking about making up a plate or something
