Will the seats of an EF Wagon fit in an EB wagon - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hi, Just wondering if anyone out there can tell me if the interior of a later model ford wagon will fit mine. I have an EB2 s pack wagon, i have had it since new and love it, however the interior is a little bit worse for wear and finding a interior (Seats, Drivers doop lining and Console] in good nick is very hard so I thought that if ford used the same interior measurements throughout the "e" series then perhaps i would have more chance to succeed with what I want to do.

Set rail and Floor? R these easily done at home or does it require special tools ie welders and the like. R the doors the same will door trims fit?

the front seats will need some modification. the inside rear mount is raised on ef-el's. it is definitely possible to fit the seats, but make sure the seats are mounted securely, as i am sure in the unforunate event of an accident they would be subject to some force on the seat mounts.

for the door trims,they do line up, BUT!!! EB's may not have the holes in the doors to put the mounting clips for the door handle. Luckly ED's have the mounting holes which helped me. The other pain in the arse is the rods for the door handles need to be modified, and trust me is a pain in the arse, and you have to get it right. I had a problem, cuz the door would close, but when i locked the car, i could still open one of the doors from the outside. This has since been fixed!!!
