window problems

i have eb station wagon, drivers side window is hard to wind up and doesnt wind properly it drives me crazy. i have replaced the window arm mechanism but didnt change anything. to wind the window up i have to open the door wind real hard and use my fingers to guide it. can some one help me i have had enough of it.my gemini use did it and i replaced the window mechanism and it was good but didnt work on my falcon! PLEASE HELP FEMALE NEEDING ASSISTANCE!

Run some silicon lube in the guide channels supporting the window. Also make sure they are affixed properly at the base.

If that doesn't work, inspect the channels themselves, I'm guessing they have started to degrade and develop lumps and bumps which means the window gets stuck in places.

Mate,
I had the same problem. I happened to have a can of spray silicon. I sprayed just a little in the window channel and hey presto.. Fixed.
Mine would wind down ok but get stuck half way up...
Now it works like a champ..

CRC silicone usually from supercheap, or try condom lube in the meantime.
