Ive recently been given a factory WRx turbo by a uncle of mine.Im contemplating in whether to try in putting in my car, i just have no idea where to start from and also if the god dam thing will fit.i need to know if its worth while or not or its just goona cause big problems. i guys i need your help here.i have a monza intercooler lying around off my brothers skyline.the big issue is trying to find a manifold for the turbo to suite my car.

Considering you are fitting it to a motor that is double in size the outcome will not be impessive.

It will boost lesss but boost earlier. The turbo will run very hot too. Bonnet vent may help this and a big cooler will help cool air down.

Get another then you will notice the difference!! :D

I would say definately too small.
With your engine being twice the size of a 2 litre subie things should happen at half the revs and twice as quick.

If it comes on boost on a 2L at 2500rpm, it will be coming on at 1250rpm on the 4L six.
If it can make 12psi by 3200rpm on a 2L, it will make 12psi at 1600rpm on a 4L.
If it can only maintain 12psi to 7000rpm on a 2L, it will only maintain 12psi to 3500rpm on a 4L. After that things would get stinking hot.
