After installing defillipo headers lacks low down power.

undefined

Greetings

Has anyone installed just the Defillipo headers to BA GT?

Dyno tested after installing headers 234.8 RWKW.

Standard 213.00 RWKW.

But lacks power below 2500 rpm. Pulls hard above 3000 RPM

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance,

I think the Defilipos have a larger primary pipe.. *thinks hard* i actually cant remember but from what i can remember the Pacies have a smaller one and are a nicer package

Re: After installing defillipo headers lacks low down power.

greetings all
The Pacemaker, Difillipo & Herrod Extractors are all 1 3/4 primary
The Pacemaker have a shorter secondary pipe & the oxygen sensors are a lot closer to the engine to help sense exhaust gas temp's

Its always the way you wait & buy the only one made, then someone else ( pacemakers make what could be a better set?

That life.

Does anyone have standard BA GT DYNO & MIDRANGE TORQUE FIGURES?

Re: After installing defillipo headers lacks low down power.

its funny how the boss motors lose torque from the larger primary extractors..
i have the difilippo's on my windsor in my au2 xr8 ute, and i actually gained torque and power evenly over the whole rev range..

Terrorising a crap driver near you!
