As a temporary mod, has anyone removed one of the mufflers from an AU 5.0? Is it worth doing? I don't really care about extra power or increased fuel efficiency right now, because I'll end up replacing everything when I fit the Vortech.

I just want to hear a bit more of the exhaust note, without making it fart and fluff like a 253 Holden. The ute's so quiet at the moment. Sometimes I have to look at the badge on the side just to remember what size engine I've got

I know how it feels having a constipated 8 as mine had three mufflers on it and it sounded like a camry 4cyl.
