BA Exhaust question

I have the option of replacing my standard BA 5.4 l Fairmont exhaust with an exhaust from a standard BA XR8 (from cat back I think).

The price is right (FREE!!!).

Will there be any increase in kw? If known, approx. how many?

Will the exhaust note be a bit better (currently non-existant?)

Anyone know?

Thanks.......

Re: BA Exhaust question

IF your gong to do the labour - why not. As long as ur not expecting a huge increase in power - fairmonts are a bit more luxo hence quieter

I dont actually know the specs of either exh though, do they look physically diffrent
