Has anyone got a De Fillipo "Big Boy" system...ie Full 3" Dual SS system. I am still looking at this. I'm sure they sound great but I don't want to make the kids sit in the backseat with earplugs beacuse of droning.
Looking to combine with a Unichip...system and chip would be done by Morpowa in Adelaide. Has anyone had there car done by Morpowa and if so were you happy with the results.
Thanks

Re: BA MkII Exhaust
If your putting a twin 3" on your AU then stay away from it. A twin 2 1/2" system will give you more power & the sound that you want. Friend of mine brought a AU with the full De Fillipo system alrealy fitted on it, nice sound but no power. Replace the hole system with a twin 2 1/2" & the car was much better with a power gain of around 10rkw & much better on fuel. I got a twin 2 1/2" on my car & sound great with no lound drons. A twin 3" is better for the BA.
You need to be pushing big HP to run 3" systems, bigger is not necessarily better !! Unfortunately, your AUIII or BA MKII just won't cut the mustard unless you stroke or blow.

Yeah the twin 3'' does drone a little at 80 and 90 in 5th but it is barely noticeable at 100 apart from a nice rumble. Since I have had mine I havent personally had a problem with the noise, its a V8 for gods sake and atleast it sounds like one !!!!

thats pretty much it....the dual 3" will have the extra exhaust note at the expense of no pressure to keep the exhaust gases pushing out..
I have spoken to a few places about putting a 3" system on my GT the guys say it would sound great, but i would loose RWKW as there is NO back pressure.

I was told by some one who is a hell of alot smarter than me and who has the dual 3'' system that it only loses 3-4 rwkw. I think that if it only loses such a small amount of power and it sounds so much better i will be putting dual 3'' on my car.
