I had my xr 8 ute put on the dyno about a month ago, 196kw at the wheels.
I run it twice just to make sure. Do you drive your car hard? I had 4k on the clock when I did this, so I'm guessing yours will get better. If your running twin exhaust, yes, you leave the balance pipe in. It does what it says... balances the exhaust waves between the two engine banks... which makes them equal. I read a good X-over is supposed to be about 10 inches long. The standard ba xr8 is only about 10cm long! It must work though... or improve on the power!
Any other thoughts???????
