Arrow BF Falcon XR6 Ute

Hi,

Just bought a new BF XR6 Ute, wanting to put extractors and exhaust system on and i noticed ford put a second O2 sensor in the system. Has anyone else come across this? How do you get around it?

Regards

Matthew

Re: BF Falcon XR6 Ute

Do you know about the possibility of the engine light coming on because of an exhaust change?

I was told by Herrod that if the O2 sensors are to be put back into the same places it should be okay.

I don't think the issue is with the o2 location, but the BF meets euro3 emissions and apparantly it can pick up an exhaust change, and trigger a code. It hope it's not that way, but that's what a lot of the talk was about on the other forum.

Re: BF Falcon XR6 Ute

Well i've put a 2.5" system on from just after the O2 sensor all the way to the back of the car and no light has come on, i'm just worried if i put extractors and hi-flow cat on it will light up.

But in saying all this the new VZ commodore has 4 O2 sensors and meets euro3 emissions and u can put extractors and system on them.
