Sorry to be asking stupid questions, but with the E series 6's do the bolts for the headers have to be torqued and removed in sequence or is that only the case with the head bolts?
The bloody mechanic who just put the head back on my EL has used the gasket for the standard exhaust manifold and it looks like crap with a set of pacemakers.
Cheers,
Mike

your not supposed to use a gasket with extractors just use the gasket seal stuff and form a gasket around each of the 6 primaries. No there is no tightening sequence with header bolts

There are proper extractor gaskets that come with most extractors, they look like a thin metal sheet, and they come up over the gaps between the primaries to sheild the heat off the spark plug's and leads.
See pic (my previous EB)
Sweet no bolt sequence. So Pacemaker don't reckon you need an extractor gasket?
There was a proper extractor gasket on the car after I had the Pacies fitted the other week. I'm just a little nervous about bolting the headers back up without a gasket. Has anyone fitted the Pacies without a gasket? No problems?
Cheers,
Mike.

i would use a gasket just for safety, and helps if there is same warp in the head or the extractors/manifold. play it safe fit one they dont cost much.
