Hi all,
i currently have a herrods 3 inch catback system on my ba xr8, im about to move on to headers and CAI, what CAI setup would you guys reccomend? Ive seen a K&N CAI setup for $200.00 second hand, is this a good thing?
Also, will the pacemaker extractors mate with the herrodss catback? No matter what i buy it must fit the the current herrods catback, any reccomendations?
All, help would be great, and links to prices and pics even better:)
Best headers on the market are the Liverpool exhaust headers, if you live in syd you can take your car to them and they will make them to fit. Are you sure the K&N isn't just a filter.

series 2 herrord headers and pacemaker headers are the same. so wich ever one u get cheaper buy them. ( and the series 1 herrod headers are difilippo headers)

Herrod headers have a 3'' collector where as the pacemaker has a 2.5'' collector. But i could be wrong or they have changed them again, same header just bigger collector on the Herrods item.

How many dyno sessions have the Liverpool headers been tested on? I was speaking to the guy there and I got the impression that they only did one session. Is that enough? Is that even correct?

I was only told they are the best on the market, when they have the most powerfull n/a Boss in the country i tend to belive. Chris took the time (1.5hrs) to explain the differencs between the headers and what works best and why, along with lots of intresting cam and head porting info. Sold my EF today, it goes tomorrow and i get cash so im off to get my exhaust done. Going with liverpool headers and dual 3'' Di Fillipo cat back with quad tips.
