Re: Cleveland Exhaust system

the twin on the xe i had went over the diff then crossed over to the drivers side between the diff and tank. a heat sheild was put there as well. then the two pipes went to the back to the original cut out in the stone tray. it was done this way due to the tank being offset for the spare to sit up right in the boot.

Re: Cleveland Exhaust system

Depending on how hot your engine is, will determine your size.

If its pretty standard, I would got twin 2"

A bit done to it, twin 2 1/4"

A fair bit, twin 2 1/2"

Can you tell I like the TWIN SYSTEM (tm)?

Re: Cleveland Exhaust system

I have pics of my twin 2.5" mandrel bent system on my XD which go up and over the 9" and both exit the drivers side.

I don't know how to post em or reduce the file size so if someone with broadband wants to send me an email address I will send them to you so you can post them

don't know mate. i had the 4 pinion diff and the 351 had 320fwh so didn't need to go the 9". had no issues with clearance.

Here's my XD with a 9" so you can see it has plenty of clearance up and over the diff. Been lowered about 2". Not sure where your watts link goes.

Twin 2.5" mandrel bent system, stainless supercat mufflers and x-pipe.......minus the plastic fuel tank though. You can see the front flange on the extractors and another just infront of the diff, for easy removal of the centre section.

Re: Cleveland Exhaust system

i have just put a twin 2.25 into 2.5 glass packed mufflers from the extratcors on my xe. The exhaust finishes just before the diff and it sounds unreal. Not too loud and has just the right enjoyable note will driving. If you do go this way though well a tip on a brackey so it looks like the exhaust comes out the back for the boys in blue.
