I have only heard good things about them. Suppose to be loud but not over the top. Do you know the cost of them? Also worth looking at the new lukey 3" V8 supersystems. I have one and think it sounds great, very similar design to the difilippo system, and very well priced.

i have the 3' difilippo ute system fitted to my au xr8..
it sounds awsome and gave me a noticable power increase thruout the rev range, and it is a little loud, but not too over the top

Liverpool exhaust make almost the same 3" system depends on muffler etc for note...

what are the advantages of having a single 3" over say, a twin 2.5" or 2.25"?

Do you mind me asking how much the 3" ute system set you back..?

I want to replace the stock, inaudible, inoffensive exhaust on my AU XR8 ute and like the sound of the Defillipo systems (I am hoping they are a bit cheaper than the Herrod Motorsport systems)

You will find that Defillipo is selling a Herrod Designed Exhaust for both the AU and BA.

Defillipo may be making them but trust me when I say that Rob Herrod paid for their design and jig.

Anyhows, prob best to shop around and get the price that suits u

Thanks guys, I am guessing the difference in price you have both quoted are based on different options SS vs mild steel, different mufflers etc...

I will get off my arse and ring a few places for quotes : )
