My ef Futura's exhaust has more holes in it then spongbob. And if i have to replace it, i might aswell add some kick aswell. So i was thinking the capa 2.5 inch catback exhaust system for $469. Is this any good and Would it just bolt straight in assuming i continue using the stock manifold?
And Yer i know its pretty stupid not replacing the headers aswell but that will have to wait until i can save some more funds. For now it just has to be roadworthy.

well im enquiring doing the same thing with my ed xr6,and i was told that replacing the system from the cat back will not give a power increase apparently, this is what i was told as i was willing to spend $500 and Fast Fit claimed that doing it just from the cat back will not do anything for me hope it helps
well i reckon for 250 plus 20 for a tip,ya cant beat my 2 1/2 inch, one box, lukey system.sounds deep, and gets alot of attention.all im gonna do is add a hiflo cat and extractors in a couple of weeks.
Yeah, dont expect gains froms just a catback system. Extractors are what you need to really feel the difference.
However, that said, when i put mine on (catback 2.5" with resonator left in), i felt a little more kick. And of course the note is infinitely better.
look around for sports exhausts packages and extractors and things because i called about 6 people in perth all looking for extractors and 2 1/2 " exhaust system and i got quotes anywhere from 1500 dolllars so 550. i ended up getting wildkat extractors and a full 2 1/2 inch exhaust system installed with a chrome tip for 550... and it was acctualy a better quality, thicker steel than the 1500 dollar set... i couldnt be happier with the system, didnt sound all that good for the first 1000 kms but after that it just sound awesome and so much more power throughout the rev range...
so yea search around
