EGR Valve location on 1.8TD LX - Ford Forums

hi,

probably a stupid question but hey....
can someone tell me where the EGR valve is on a standard Ford Mondeo 1.8TD LX? (1997 reg). I cant seem to locate it. All manuals (i.e. Haynes etc) just show sketches of the valve but not in location to anything else.
If looking straight down on the engine (so the windscreen washer reservoir is on the left) where would I be looking?

Any pictures would be REALLY helpful
