exhaust before extractors

Heres a quick (sorry if its silly) question. Say I want to get a redback 2.5" exhaust on my ute. If I get it put on, what happens if I want to later put a set of, say JMM race series headers on? Do I have to replace the entire exhaust, or will an exhaust place simply cut the exhaust to fit the longer extractors?

Re: exhaust before extractors

If it's a cat's back system, do it. You can fit the extractors and hi-flow catalytic converter(s), if you choose to change the cat'(s) that is, later no problem.

Re: exhaust before extractors

Wow! Thanks for the fast reply mate!

Yeah Im thinking about getting a cat-back system first (limited funds), then getting the headers and hi-flo cat later on when I save the money, just needed that question answered before I went and did it.

Cheers AUGZMK

PS. Got a rough price on what a redback 2.5" cat-back might cost, supply and fitted?
