Hey all i have a leak between the exhuast manifolds, would i be able to apply some cement on the joint without removing them? Its an EL I6.

i have never had any luck with exhaust cement or muffler bandages.. At very best it is only temporary and you will have to get it fixed eventually, or just throw on some headers if finances allow

its not a problem for me to fix the leak with a new gasket, just thought that could of been an easy alternative.

Just to confirm the exhaust manifold is in two pieces right? There seems to be a gap in between mine. Is there meant to be a gasket there?
