Any one have any idea how to test the Exhaust Gas Pressure Differential Valve for a N reg Mondeo--------there must be a way?

funny thing your Mondeo has the sameproblem as my 95 contour 2.oL.. I read the ahynesmanual and it says to check EGR valve by starting vehicle and Pulling a vacume on the egr valve to see if it stalls the engine,, if it does,, THe EGR valve is Good ,, No leaks,, THe Pressure differential valve is controlled by computer and manages the EGR valve to open or close,,,, if this does Not work ,, the code statis is a 327 or 335,, replace DIfferential valve,,sensor,, at least it is with am Obd 1 type computer,,,, check to see if your codes are teh same,, I believe 96 and up are OBD 2 type,, and needs to be read differently,, Good Luck
