Exhaust Mods On Turbo

We have had exhaust upgraded to 3.5 inch mandel bent with to straight though purpose build mufflers and new larger cat all fitted by southport exhaust on the goldcoast.
We gained 23extra kw's at rear wheels on dyno after this was done.
also gained a lot more accl
200.5 kw at rear wheels this is for the auto.

We used the secound muffler to tone it down and remove drone from inside car. but the exhaust note is sweet and under full accelartion is total orsome but not to load attract the wrong type of attention from noise police.

Does it sound deep and mean like the E-series engines do when you put on bigger exhuast?

Mmmm...interesting. Chris from fordxr6turbo forum has a similar exhaust on his car and didn't seem to gain anything.

To 94 ed sounds real deep under load
Falchoon has chris had the pipe from the turbo housing increased to 3.5 inchs as well as this may be a problem.

i find the XR6T exhuast note is deep but isnt a normal I6 type noise rather a sort of burble? Very similar to a supra TT. I like very much :)

The dump pipe on the standard car is good to begin with, you will be hard pressed to improve on it's design. So i have read.
