Will changing the rear resonator on my TE50 (Series 2) give me a better note?

Im sick of how quiet it is, but don't want to spend big bucks on a full cat back system. For the record, i know changing the whole system will provide added performance, but all i want is a better note. I get all the performance i need out of my 460 XF.

Somebody advised me that because of the size of the middle muffler, that just replacing the rear resonator wont actually make much of a difference. Any opinions?

dont replace it.. get rid of the resinator.. might drone a little but definite increase in sound

Yep I agree, get rid of it completely, it wont make it sound totally different but it will slightly increase it's volume and note and will cost bugger all to get done
