EB2 4ltr XR6 with cam

I have an after market exhaust and the rear muffler started to rattle, after inspection I found something had come loose inside??? Have taken it off and just replaced it with some pipe. Car is a bit loud now (will probably have to get another muffler)

Anyway my question to you in the business is ... should this have affected the cars performance??? If anything I thought it may have improved it, yet I`m sure it feels a little slugglish??

If so... no performance difference

You are saying there is noise, so it is probably the middle muffler.

I also found a performance decrease when this happened to me.

People say its due to lack of back pressure making it difficult to push the exhaust thru.
