Hi all,
considering buying a 3inch catback system for mr BA XR8, what i need to know is this, is a 3inch system too big my XR8? Or should i go for something smaller?

This is off an xr6 too, also, are there any recorded problems with changing to this exhaust etc..

3inch is about perfect for an xr8 any smaller and it will be restrictive

Yep, all done and sounding sweet:) The only hassle is i have to buy a couple of proper exhaust nuts and bolts as the original ford ones are crazy and wont fit, the ones i have on it will do till tomorrow untill i call into a shop and get some that fit right.

Apart from that, its great:) But the rain is stopping me from opening it right up:(

That's good to hear. I hate selling things as I always worry that the buyer won't be happy as I've been stuffed around myself a few times.

I know it made mine sound sweet. I can't wait to get the new system to get a bit of noise back.
