frown Exhaust troubles...

My ED Falcon has had a leaking center exhaust for awhile now, in the past week the tailpipe has started to vibrate like crazy and has been getting louder and louder. While driving today, the end of the exhaust pipe came lose and started scratching on the ground (the end near the drivers door). I managed to put it back in place using a single screw just so I could drive it to a mechanic.

I have a feeling the exhaust pipe will need to be replaced, not sure about the muffler/tailpipe, what do you think?

The reason I'm posting this is to ask for recommendations on what kind of exhaust pipe I should get if it needs changing. I think the current one is stock and I would like something with a bit more airflow as long as it is not much louder than the stock system and not very expensive (money is a bit tight right now). How much do you think this will end up costing?

I have also noticed that the car's performance has been bad, could this be the reason?

you can get straight through tail pipes with no mufflers ,hotdogs or resonators Part No (Berklee) BT3171, This would also be your cheaspest option imho
Have you driven a Ford....lateley?
