Some say the Gready, some say Borla. They'res alot of exhaust companies out there. I'd take it to a shop that specializes in exhaust and ask them. A friend of mine went to switch his stock to Borla and the shop said he was crazy. That there was nothing wrong with his stock exhaust. Well, they knew something that we didn't know. He dynoed his car a couple of weeks ago and actually lost hp from the time he had dynoed before.:WH:

Ok after hearing the Borla story, Ill say GREDDY . If I was to buy a new cat-back system thats what Id buy. Also you may want to consider a custom made exhaust, that way you can pick any muffler you like...

He must have lost power from something else, because opening up the exhaust system and adding a good muffler is not going to lose power, it's going to gain you some. I think maybe something else was wrong with his car that gave him lower numbers, maybe he needed a tune up or something.

Peace,
Marc

Thumbs up thanks

GReddy was it. i decided to go with this one mostly because i got a deal. $213 total, brand new, in the box with all the hardware. Stillen had an open house which i attended with SCPOC and ran into it out in the lot. Damon, SCPOC pres, pointed it out and hooked it up to make sure i got this unpassable piece.

Well, i have attached pics of it installed and i like very much. I installed it 2 days after i got it. i couldn't wait.

More info about the Stillen Open House SCPOC gathering are at www.scpoc.com

Might I also suggest Sebring exhausts! I was fortunate to get this genuine Sebring catback exhausts with dual chrome tips. This is a genuine Sebring made in Austria...not one made by domestic companies stamping their exhausts with the Sebring label. List price for this exhaust is really $470, but I got a huge deal from a distributor for $100 because they couldn't move this merchandise.

It has a nice, smooth and low tone sound and it's not very loud nor ricey. Here are the pics if you want to see them.

The Sebring looks good. Just got my Borla--I only waited one day! Showed up at work at lunch Friday, had it on to go grab lunch on Saturday. :D

I have to say the Borla does exactly what I wanted: it takes the stock PGT exhaust note & makes it more, plus a little deeper. Now that I've got a few freeway miles, I've found that at cruising speed, it settles down to background noise. Sweet.

I'll post pics when I get them on the PC
