Re: exhausts

I think 2.5" would give the best increase in power for a stock 4lt. Any bigger and the gas will start to loose velocity.
Get a 'mandrel bent' one, as it will also help with the flow. Should cost somewhere between $200-300 fitted.

Ive heard that pacemaker are bringing out some new race series extractors, so it might be worth waiting for them. But if u dont want to spend that much, lukey, wildcat, hitech extractors will do the trick for around $300 fitted.

Depending on the condition of your cat, u might want to look into a new one. 2.5" hi-flow will set u back $200-300. But the standard falcon ones flow pretty good to start with.

Hope that helps

Re: exhausts

With all this, would it be worth me getting Pacemaker extractors and a 2.5" on my cfi, or just buy a mpfi 4ltr from an EB2 onwards and but the zorst and extractor set on myslef?

Re: exhausts

Dont bother with the extractors on the CFI. Its cheeper or at the most cost the same as the Extractors and will give you more benifit power wise. If sound is what u r after do the MPI conversion and cut off a mufler. THis should satisfy you till u can afford an exhaust!

Re: exhausts

MPI stands for Multi point Injection, thats is ur engine has a injector just above the valve for each cylinder, unlike mine which has two injectors in the throttle body.

I dont know. Pacemaker seem to be Popular so do Lukey. One of the members Thantos (i think it is neway) has an Awesome sounding i6. Maybe send him a PM and ask a few Questions about his setup. I dont know how it is power wise tho.
