I need some suggestions on a good exhaust system I can put on my AU XR8. I'm not sure what's on it at the mo, all I know is it has no mufflers. I wanna see what it will sound like after the mods are done, but if I decide to get the exhaust done.. then I want to know what are some good ones out there.

herrod would proabaly be the best to get in contact with... would also recomend getting extractors at the same time that is unless u already got some.

Not sure on exhaust systems but i know Magnaflow mufflers sound great on XR8's, also make sure you get a stainless system they sound much better than mild steel.

Erm, no thanks with the Herrod but I do have a set of extractors that I'll be getting put on the car.

Source out a twin system with an X-pipe and magna-flo mufflers ..

Good system with enough volume for a nice and healthy Mickie Webb enhanced 5.0l

For Sound
twin 2 1/4 exhaust with 1 muffler on each pipe towards the rear of the car. X pipe if you like. mine sounds fine with out it.

If you don't have the money do a 2.5" mandrel bent system with either mild or stainless steel (depending on your needs). If you are planning to do big mods within the next few months, then a 3" would be better or even a twin system otherwise you will be losing power.
