prior to owning my el I owned an xf (4.1) with 2.25 inch zorst and extractors and it went very hard for a 350,000km engine eg sideways on take off and spinning into second gear. My question is, why is a slightly smaller engine 4l (el) need a bigger zorst (2.5in) for optimum performance?
Does anyone on here have 2.25inch zorst on there ea-au 6's, if so how does it perform.
I went from the standard 2.25" to a 2 1/2" exhaust on my old EA, apart from the note difference, i felt like it was breathing much better, felt much better to drive to. Keep in mind the new exhaust is mandrel bent, and probably sounding tough just made it feel better :)

put on redback zorst (2.5in) yesterday and genie extractors, heaps of people think there no good but I have found them to be alright, and everything for only 660 fitted.
