roll Feral stench

Hey, i own a 2004 fiesta. since the second day i had it some feral smell sometimes pours out of the engine bay or exhaust. smells like rotten egg.
I rung ford and was told its either bad fuel which i dont think is possible (i have only ever put in 98ron bp ultimate) or it could be a number of other things including the cat
anyone now what it could possibly be..?
will it be covered by warranty?

Spinning first .... Chirping second ... and NEAAAAARLY chirping third. Fiesta is the word. Its more than just a party on wheels.

Re: Feral stench

It might be your clutch, or the car just wearing in..

Re: Feral stench

i got a ED falcon, just had the battery shit itself, so new battery, and the car learning again, but the smell of the exhaust gas is the worst smell i've ever sniffed, would this be because it's learning/ not running right or because something blocked, new cat time, only 18months old?? had the idea over the last few weeks that ppl don't like to sit behind me... is it maybe i smell???

Re: Feral stench

It's the cat convertor mate, my exhaust guy has explained it to me before but I can't remember how it worked, but it means either your cat is f*cked or it's just new and needs to 'settle' in (not correct terminology I know)
