i have just gotten off the phone with a bloke from professional exhaust in airport west.

He has just suggested to me for tri y's with 2 and 1/2 collectors and a twin 2 and a 1/2 in pipe with x pipe for $750

does this sound cheap and is this the right combination or setup i should be looking at for just general street use with a mild cam?

pipe sounds big but it's perfect for when you have future plans.

I am but not just yet. I need the car to stay driveable while I paint it. I have a $ figure in my head but as I am not ready to sell just yet, I haven't bothered

I'm running my 4-1's when the engines swapped. 4-2-1 tri y's are uselss to me.

Restoring a car the short way round?? My old car has a bent and twisted chassis. Can't get a roady like that My engine broke the cars back.

I'm just having some fun brenx. Still, i thought you'd need something a bit stronger than that to bend a cars chassis, although i dont know much about xb's ect. Have you got the auto done yet. I'm hopefully getting mine back next week, but thats what the auto builder said 2 weeks ago.(someone had theirs in there for a year, but hopefuly not mine...lol) Lets get some more good clevo's going out there.

Yup it's been sitting there since March. I figured if I don't fit it. It can't break The driveline from the old car will be going in the new car hopefully in about 4-5 weeks. just have to make sure the cars completely sprayed inside/out including engine bay first.

I am pulling out the motor hopefully this weekend from the old car. Then I'll finish stripping the chassis and get rid of it. Then I'll slowly start removing/selling the driveline from the new car. I've already got buyers for most of it.

Diff and exhaust are definately gone/sold. Not sure about the extractors. I am keeping the C4 and maybe parts of the engine from the new car. Thinking of a surprise engine Shouldn't take me too long.
