im looking for a recommendation on headers for a 74 torino 302 c-4 p/s, a/c. it has gt40p heads on it, so plug clearance is an issue. i preferr full length headers, but shortys or high flow repros will suffice if needed

Almost no long tubes will fit the P heads, unfortunately for us.
I'm running FRPP shorties designed for these cylinder heads specifically. I like 'em. I still want LTs, but these do a really good job.

That's a good choice. That would surely be much better if you add-in new header panel. And of course, make sure that you mount it properly.
