Herrod HPC headers which in my case go 4 into 2 about where original ones go 4 into 1, then the 2 pipes carry on until where the rear of the cats normally are. (don't need cats here - hell the Green party turned up to parliament on their first day in a smoking polluting old Lada!). The 2 pipes the reduce to 1 at the flange. Oh and each of the primary tubes are equal in length. ie the number 4 tube comes foward, then returns toward the firewall.
The exhaust itself - similar to the old EF pipes. 2 x 2 1/2" pipes back to a y junction, then one pipe into a freeflow muffler, out to the second muffler tucked away behind the right rear bumper, then finished off with an oval tip similar to VT/VX tip, except bigger - fills in the indent in the rear bumper nicely thank you very much! Of course these exhaust bits are all stainless items from front to back.
Cost? Well you get what you pay for. Before you decide on anything else, please do yourself a big favour and ring Herrods and ask them for a price. I drove over 600km return to get mine done. Worth every km of enjoyable driving. Had to have the car up on a hoist at the local Ford dealership for the trans problem and the mechanics there admired the workmanship. Top class finish!
Sound? Awesome. Turns heads around town. The Holden boys look. Nice throaty noise. A little cackle. Decelleration in low gear (engine braking) sounds great too! Certainly a lot more torque lower down. And absolutely no drone - these guys spent some time on this system!
