The muffler on my EF is starting to get a small hole in it, and I figure I might as well put a cat back system on it. My question is whats the best combination for an Auto 4.0i which is completely stock.
I want it to be quiet on idle and day to day cruising, but a bit of a roar when i nail it. What size pipes ( 2.25 - 2.5 etc ) and what size/number of resonators etc etc

the system i am running on my ef would be ideal for you, i am running a 2.5" system with 1 semi straight through muffler and 1 resignator at the rear with a 3" tip its quiet on the highway but still roar when i punch it

i have a 2 1/2 with one resonator before the diff. its got a nice idle note, and is sweet when i am up it.

I got it from Lee's Exhaust's at Moss St at slacks creek.

If you ever wanted to hear my exhaust etc.. just let me know, i live on the south side of brissie

mine cost me $190... i dont think mines that loud on day to day driving, but i spose you could get one a little quieter, but still have a nice note when you are up it
