Iv'e just had a Redback 2 1/2" system, with Advance headers installed on my AU.
The extractors started to vibrate against the bell housing and had to be replaced. Apart from that little setback I'm impressed with the added HP and fuel econ'.

Anyfeed back on the Headers would be good. I believe Street Machine had an article about the Advance Headers, either last or this month.

I have advanced headers, and have nothing but good reports on them! i know the guy who fitted my exhaust, and he had spent a fair bit of time on the dyno, along with the guy who manufacturers the advanced headers (an SA company), and when he spoke about the results, and showed me some dyno sheets, it was clear who I was choosing.

I havent had mine dynoed, but im really happy with the results, I also had the added benefit of being mates with the guy who did my exhaust, so i got his honest opinion, not what he wanted to sell me!

Hi All,
How does $835 sound for a 2 1/2" system with a lukey muff and Pacemaker extracters, fitted. $135 less if my cat converter is ok.

fozzy that sounds good, is it stainless or mild? and is it mandrel bent or press bent??

im personally not a fan of pacemaker (never used them, just from what ive heard) but that doesnt mean alot, arguments can go on forever about who likes what!

i've got stainless steel Advance headers/extractors and i am more than impressed with the extra power.

The mechanic that fitted them 'said' that a leading guy defected from Genie and built up the Advance company.

Dunno if thats utter sales talk or not.
