Quick exhaust question
Just a quick question. My mate has one of those ricer-style exhausts on his car from the cat back (I think its 2.5'), and he gets all this black stuff comin out of it and makin his car dirty. Whats the cause of that? Is it only because he has no mufflers to filter it or what?

Black is usually fuel , may be running rich.

There was no black stuff before he put on the loud exhaust. Does the exhaust have an impact on the richness of the mixture?
